Leather Pants and Faux Fur

As you all may have guessed... i love wearing Black. I think this little outfit is perfect for evening drinks with your girls/ other half! I have a couple of items below that i picked up recently and i adore at the moment!

I decided to go for black on black, with a change of texture with some leather pants and a faux fur gillet/ knitted bomber jacket. I topped it off, obviously with a gorgeous tribal inspired necklace.

Leather pants - Republic (Christmas present two years ago! Similar here
Glen Coco Tee - eBay (here)
Tribal statement necklace - Zara (sold out)
Platform high heeled chelsea boots - New Look (here)
Holographic clutch - New Look

These leather pants add a bit of glamor to any outfit, however these ones in particular are impossible to move in! I literally can't bend over haha, so i don't recommend Republic ones at all. When buying leather pants, make sure you try them on first and make sure they're comfy.

I found this Glen Coco tee on EBAY! Oh god, i absolutely love eBay, i've found so many fab pieces from there and ill do a post soon on what i've found and where to find it. I rolled up the sleevs for a more casual look. I teamed it with this necklace from Zara which sold out super quickly, so i'm glad i got my hands on one.

Woolen Bomber Jacket - ASOS (here)
I wear this jacket all the time - super warm and adds a nice contrast of textures and patterns to the whole outfit. Might be a little bit too much for some, but that's how i like it!

 Fauf Fur Gillet - H&M
I picked up this gillet from H&M recently and again i thought it mixes up the textures and prints of the outfit.

Would love to hear your views, feel free to comment! Thanks for reading :D

Knee Highs and Skater Skirts

I haven't been the best at organising my time and allocating a nice chunk over the weekends to my blog... oops! 6am starts and the mad panic and dash out of the door doesn't really leave much time to plan a great outfit ... so the weekend is the perfect opportunity to wear something fab :D!

Who says you cant wear skater skirts in winter? Of course you can with a pair of knee highs! (Okay, i would still totally freeze in this outfit). I love wearing black - half of my closet is black and i simply cant steer away from it in the colder months.

Here's a quick monochrome look!

Pork Pie Hat - Topshop (here)
Graphic print t-shirt - Missguided (sold out)
Petite black skater skirt - Topshop
Knee highs - H&M (old)
Platform lace up boots - Missguided
Round Sunnies - eBay
X Necklace - Topman

Watcha guys think? I look a tad yellow here... terrible lighting! On the bright side i finally have a DSLR, so the upcoming pics will be much better quality. Can't wait to try it out!

Tweed N Tartan

I'm so glad that tartan is back in fashion this Autumn/Winter, however recently it seems everyone is wearing tartan pants or a tartan skirt and these pieces will quickly go out of fashion. I like to add a little touch of tartan through a scarf - perfect for this cold weather. So, finally a fashion post of mine which is suitable for the cold!

I found this blazer in Zara recently and fell in love with it instantly! Its super warm and even though it can't be seen in the pictures, the blazer looks pretty cool with the collars up (how it was on the mannequin). I love the grandad look of pairing this tweed blazer and scarf! This is a pure lambswool scarf that i found on... eBAY for £10! I found a really cool seller who sells tartan scarfs in every colour combination imaginable. I have a tartan scarf in red too which my mum picked up for me on her trip to Cotswold - i was so pleased she bought something i would actually wear!

I chose to match the scarf with some suede leggings and a pair of old lace up boots which are lined with faux sheepskin. I then threw on a simple MK bag to complement the natural hues.

Don't you think the outfit looks cuter with the hair in a messy bun?

Lambswool Scarf - eBay (here)
Suede leggings - Topshop (old)
Messenger bag - Michael Kors
Boots - New Look (old)
Casio Watch - Urban Outfitters
Bracelets - H&M

Its quite funny actually. Me and my Grandad both have matching blazers! Who else would rock the Grandad look!?

The rose gold skater skirt

So i'm not the biggest fan of skirts, i'm more of a dress girl. But i do love my skater skirts - tight just above the hips and the flared out circle-skirt style surely give an illusion of curves... something i haven't been blessed with!

I think this is great for a party look. I live in my fluffy jumpers in Autumn and Winter and even though i have hardly any pink in my wardrobe, this fluffy jumper was too cute for me to resist. I tucked it into this rose gold skater skirt which has a laser cut out pattern at the bottom - not to everyone's taste but i love it!

If you've been following my blog then you know i love my accessories, for me they're the key items which i focus on most to make an outfit extra special. I paired the skirt and jumper with this gorgeous statement gem necklace (Originally from Zara, but i found one from China on Ebay for 1/3 of the price!). This necklace has so many tones - pinks, blues and greens and i absolutely love it. Then i threw on a pair of nude and gold studded pointed court heels and an over sized studded nude/pink clutch.

All of my friends know that i have a ridiculous collection of jeans that exist in every colour under the sun. However, one colour i never ventured into was white.
That all changed when i formed a long-term, loving relationship to the Topshop Joni Jeans - half way between jeggings and jeans, reminiscent of the American Apparel Disco Pant style and ever so flattering on the tummy! I couldn't resist but buying a pair in white! The quality of these jeans is just great and they are so comfortable. However theyre not exactly opaque, so be careful on your choice of underwear for the day!

I decided to pair my jeans with this floral printed 'Merci' top. I just adore these colours and with an oversized crop top fit, they were perfect for these high waisted jeans. I added a splash of hologram with my favourite go to bag for a futuristic touch, and a statement silver necklace. Finally i stepped out of the door with these Alexander Wang inspired heels. Finishing just above the ankles, these white caged, block heels are my new favourites!

Okay, so its time to be a little more realistic. There's no way i'd be able to step out in this outfit with the weather at the moment. To top off the outfit and keep me a little warmer, i decided to throw this white blazer over my shoulders for a super chic look.
Blazer - H&M (sold out but similar ones still in store)
Merci Top - ASOS (here)
White High Waisted Joni Jeans - Topshop (Sold out for now, but similar here)
Opponent Gladiators Heeled Sandals - New Look (here)
Silver tribal necklace - Forever 21 (sold out)
Hologram Clutch - New Look (Similar from ASOS here)

What are your views on the white Jeans, they're not everyones cup of tea!

The Velvet Burnout Dress

So it's pretty clear the British Summer has waved us good bye. Cloudy skies, hot chocolates and cuddling up with my faux fur blanket on the sofa... i welcome you with open arms! As much as i love the warm weather, i'm glad it's getting colder. Why? It means i can dig out pieces like this from my wardrobe...

I absolutely adore wearing velvet. I think its the epitome of luxury so i'm loving this trend at the moment. This stunning dark navy/ indigo velvet number is from the bohemian brand Free People. Although this was a gift from over two years ago, i could never find the right occasion to wear it. Realising it was gathering dust in my closet, i recently wore it on a night out in London.

Along with its luxurious velvet long sleeve arms, high neck and bodycon fit, the beautiful burnout design over the front and arms adds a gorgeous touch of elegance. Isn't it gorgeous!?

I decided to pair it with a pair of simplistic black and gold heels from New look (Similar ones here or view the original on the website here) which are a fantastic dupe for the simplistic Zara heels - practically indistinguishable and for half the price! I also threw on a quirky shoulder bag from Zara - one of my wardrobe staple items, with a gold metal trimming and an angel wing on top (here)!

I kept the outfit quite simple as the burnout print is gorgeous and i didn't want to detract from it. How would you all wear it? What kind of jewellery? I would love to hear your thoughts!
